1975+ light duty, narrow body ACCO, due to circular headlights located higher up within grille. 1972-1974 have square lights on bumper. http://www.freewebs.com/robsclassicmodels/trucks2.html "The ACCO-A had square headlights set behind the bumper bar. From 1975 standard 7" round headlights were used" "In 1977 the grill was changed to a new design to cover the full width within the front panel moulding, and these trucks continued to be marketed as the ACCO-B series." -- Last edit: 2020-05-06 10:31:05 |

This is an ACCO 510A or 530A depending on whether it had a petrol or diesel engine. It was the smallest ACCO built. The narrow cabs on ACCOs were always A-Cabs even when the full width cabs went to B, C, etc. The cab design didn't change must during its production life. The narrow cab never had square headlights in the bumper. You can tell it is a 510A/530A because of the position of the headlights. The slightly heavier 610A/630A had the headlights vertically centred within the grill. |
