 Is that a Jowett Javelin ?

 I think it's a fuzzy Austin A40 Devon. Can't tell whether 1948 or '49+ due to script, but my Dad's '49 had its front plate in the same place. The front wing's the wrong shape for a Javelin, and there are no side extensions to the grille.
