Bulb and reflector lamps as built replaced with sealed beam units; for many years France had equipment rules that required yellow beams and this could be reason these were changed. Many cars with bulb and reflector lights were later changed in the US to sealed beams to get better lighting.

Bulb and reflector lamps as built replaced with sealed beam units; for many years France had equipment rules that required yellow beams and this could be reason these were changed. Many cars with bulb and reflector lights were later changed in the US to sealed beams to get better lighting.
