This is not a 1992 Caprice, it's 1995 or 1996. Prior to model year 1995 rear view mirrors were bolted directly to door panels (like they do on some new cars now). Also traditional rear wheel arch came out in 1993. |

Either the hood has been filled and repainted, or this car came from the factory with the 6Y5 hood ornament delete RPO (or it has the hood swapped over from one.) Most Caprices came with the hood ornament, while the Impala SS had none with a hood that had no punchout for it. |

Link to "www.plasement.com" Another site that has copied all its car pictures and vehicle details from here. http://www.plasement.com/products/category/movie/what/car as if this old Caprice is product placement. ...though the Twitter feed is not very active. Maybe antp should start one. |

If you have time (and ideas) to manage IMCDb's Twitter account, feel free to create and fill it |

Manage AND fill? That's going to be stressful, thinking up tweets and trying to gain followers. Maybe something *all* the admins have access to? I don't even like Twitter that much, literally everyone has an opinion there. https://twitter.com/stijnsanders/status/602222555760435200 This guy is talking about you. Positive things too. https://twitter.com/Skunkola/status/573318750310690816 |

Well he has time for Twitter that I don't... |

Facebook/Twitter might be a good way to draw attention to long unidentified cars. A sort of 'unidentified vehicle of the day/week/month' thing. Not everyone has the time or inclination to dredge up unknowns from years ago if they know what they are. |

svvs.org mostly does that. |
