Looks Bentley S1/S2, but unsure of detail eg grille surround looks very deep and maybe rear wing line. Screen effect or a James Young-ish special body?? |

Agree strong Mulliner resemblance, so have ID as 1956 S1 Lightweight Saloon H.J. Mulliner to our closest existing match based on S1 as ^. Apparently there were 12 of this body produced. However noted that this one seems to have shorter rear quarterlight than our other one and this ebay example and other online pictures suggest short quarterlight may be more like S2 Continental "Flying Spur" Mulliner 4 door saloon - eg http://www.rrab.com/hjm.htm , Link to "www.coachbuild.com" . So I think we're pretty close (and close enough to accept this ID for the moment), but it might be improveable with extra investigation. |

My guess would be a Bentley S1/2 LWB Saloon. It is not a lightweight Saloon on S1 as the rear doors are opening the usual way, and the Mulliner Saloon opens rearwards. |
