Skyline GX 3.0. It is also Australian assembled. This was made at the then-Nissan Australia plant in Clayton which closed in 1994. This plant was sold to HSV which will close down in 2017. |

It's definitely a 'Skyline GX 3.0 not a Pintara. Pintara has a 4-cylinder only. It says 'Skyline' on the right, not Pintara. Also, if it was a GXE, the badge on the very left would be three letters long with the 3.0 moniker but the badge on the very left is two letters long with the 3.0 moniker, hence why it's a Nissan Skyline 'GX 3.0' and not a Nissan Skyline 'GXE 3.0'. Also @Exiv96 your picture is of a 'Series II' GXE, this is a 'Series I' GX, identifiable by the lack of red reflectors between the brake lights and plate cavity. Also, The Skyline badge is one the passenger side in Series II, Series I has it on the drivers side. -- Last edit: 2014-01-17 13:34:32 |
