..the front & wheel trim seems different from the other '1990' caprices (..standard trim ..aftermarket.?) |

Yeah. Many of the 9C1's came with this aftermarket look to help blend in with the environment. It didn't help, though. If undercover cops drove this car, they'd be spotted in a second. The hubcaps are called 'stainless' hubcaps. They were issued on both retail versions, and police 9C1 versions of the Caprice starting in 1989. In 1993, the black centered 'CAPRICE' logo was changed to an all silver one with the Chevy bowtie, and they were made of a dull chrome material. In my opinion, these hubcaps are the best. Just don't buff them too much...they will blind someone. -- Last edit: 2006-11-16 23:52:13 |

Definitely. Those are the best hubcaps period. |

This is not 90 caprice, only 1990 Caprice had the door mounted seat belts, but this car dont have them. |

@Antoine: This /vehicle.php?id=66354#Comment3468587 comment is really Chevrolet Caprice Classic and I would consider a separate trim level here. |

They are just background vehicles in a series with a lot of vehicles, so for a difference of trim level I'm not sure they really deserve a separate page |
