If I remember right, this episode takes place in late 1976 so that's probably a brand new car. |

Murphys Law cj7 2006-12-25 23:45 '78 with those t-tops. the t-tops make no difference. unless they are the Hurst edition. the t-tops were the same 76-80,81. if the episode is late 76 then it would be a 77 the same year as the T/A in smokey and the bandit. |

Even if this was '78 and the car was a year old that paint is horrible! Esp. if this is supposed to be a brand new car. I can find a shinier 77 just driving around town for a while! |

No slanted facelift, roundish headlights (not very visible), and the episode is set in late 1976, not 1978. Maybe late '76 to early '77, but not a '78. |
