I don't believe this is a SAAB http://www.flickr.com/photos/xbxg/7322913416/in/pool-saab , as I've never seen a rear end of a V4 look like this. The rear lights don't look round enough, the bumper not pointy enough. Isn't there some eastern makes that look similar? (Tatra, Volga or others?) |

mike962 - Thumbnails should always be posted from the start, not just after someone has doubts about the car or requests extra views. |

kinda hard to post extra shots when they are not validated... and you want to move on with the movie and not make dozens and dozens of shots for every car... -- Last edit: 2014-01-01 22:11:10 |

After validation, of course. The movie has been validated almost half a day ago, and you made some comments on this page since validation and you could have posted the alternate views in the meanwhile. It helps identification. |

yeah but it isn't a bit of waste of space to post extra thumbnail of cars where ID is quite easy ? and in this case yes perhaps extra shots helped but frankly I wasn't interested in some boring sedan which appears for 1-2 seconds , I was of course interested in the race cars of which I did post quite a number of extra shots anyway , if someone asks for extra shots and they are available I post them , when I ask about extra shots of tractors/ construction vehicles etc seems the uploaders aren't as responsive and I often find out there were extra good shots which really helped ID watching them myself -- Last edit: 2014-01-01 22:21:16 |

Posting additional views for any car from the start is useful as it shows more detail to narrow down the year, engine specification, trim, or special editions, etc. Sometimes even a simple thing such a headrest or a headlight can narrow down important facts about the car. That is why everyone posts thumbnails even for a Typ 1 or Mini, which are one most easiest cars people can recognize generically. A waste of space is when people upload dozens of thumbnails that do not show much of a difference between each other or when they post other non-related car pictures in exaggerate amounts. Usually it is recommended to post other views of the vehicle in question. -- Last edit: 2014-01-01 22:42:02 |
