They are nice. I had one of them in the early 80s. With the 400CI it had quite some guts. Build quality was atrocious though and the car rusted quicker than it drove.

If that were the case then the other 3 people that have capped this film would show this. Theirs all match, yours is different. The Grand Ams were available in that blue color, they did not come in teal.

standard practice this days for many movies to get different color tones specially film noir like this

This is tough, on one hand you have an unfiltered image as the car would've likely been seen that day by the naked eye, and then you have the heavily filtered image Michael Mann wanted viewers to see as is represented on the Criterion Collection blu-ray.

Up to the admins as who which image should be used, I suppose. I own the Criterion blu-ray and it is a delight.

price for each kind but for some reason unleaded and regular gas ones are incomplete
