Actually, it's an F-150 if it's a half-ton model. The F-100's didn't exist after 1983, and this was made between 1987 and 1991. |

As it is in Argentina, it is probably F-100, cf /vehicle.php?id=63748 |

exactly, argentina is the only country where the ford f150 is still called ford f100 to today, because the heritage...ford sells in brasil the tuck as a ford f150 but in argentina the name f100 is still yet used because the heritage and history the car company have...even in argentina in the advice of the f100 some years ago(ten years ago i think)they say''why dont there's mechanics on the fields?'' because all have a ford f100. fields mean campo, well, is the word i try to use... |

I think that "fields" is correct (well, it seems to match in this case) |

anyone else notice its a 4X4, or in Argentina is that called a 4X2X1.5 ? Just kidding |

Though landrover1 is right, I believe the 4x4 version was dubbed 'F-150' to differentiate from the 'standard' one ... I also believe this version of the F-Series started to be built in Argentina later than 1987 (maybe 1989, I have to check). |

Well, if the Argentina model followed the same changes as the North American model, this is either an '87 or '88 (since it's got the black grille). |

Should be listed made for Argentina. |

The F-150 was sold there alongside the F-100. Here are two documents I dug up to verify this. http://pics.imcdb.org/0is265/1f43.8882.jpg F-100: http://www.testdelayer.com.ar/pruebas/ford-f-100-xlt.htm - note where the badge is placed. F-150: http://www.testdelayer.com.ar/pruebas/ford-f-150-4x4.htm - note where the badge is placed. Here is an official document proving the F-150 was sold there: https://www.carthrottle.com/post/726drxm/ -- Last edit: 2019-11-29 18:04:51 |
