This style of the Super Van did not come out until 1978. The previous generation did in fact have a Super Van but Ford did some changing up like they always do to us. The 1969-1974 Super Van became the regular length van in 1975. The 'shorty' version, which was the original standard length, was discontinued. From 1975-1977 the only van available was the regular length (1969-1974 Super Van length) van. Then in 1978 the NEW Super Van came out which definitely confused me at first when I started researching the Econoline Vans. |
