I believe this is not a Stag as that one always had over riders. The question is if it's a 2000 Mk2, a 2500 S Mk2, a 2500 TC Mk2 or a 2.5 PI Mk2. One possibility is to have a look at the badge to see if it reads 2000, 2500 or 2500 Injection. I can't. Perhaps it's not divided as on the 2.5 PI Link to "en.wikipedia.org" (look close) compare with the 2000 http://www.autoweek.com/article/20100525/collector/100529849 and the 2500 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Triumph_2500.jpg . Triumph had a assembly plant for CKD both in Australia (called AMI http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Motor_Industries ) and on New Zeeland. |

Agree saloon - has mid-life grille = 2000 TC, 2500TC, or 2500S, but looks simple trim so 2000TC safest. ^ interesting link to AMI in Aus - has some new connections to follow. |
