More probably a 180 Diesel(made by Chrysler Espana of Madrid,by 1979 Talbot Espana, later Peugeot Espana)being that car born to contrast the sales of Seat 132 Diesel with Mercedes diesel engine thru Spanish taxists, still built in 1980(as Talbot 180 Barreiros Diesel),as witnessing a world cars annual of that year(seems debut year was 1976 for Diesel version) |

The origin of this car is Spain, not USA ![]() |

Isn't it rather a car from Chrysler France (though that they were later produced in Spain), so a French car? -- Last edit: 2006-11-11 12:25:15 |

Cars of French origins,born as Chrysler Simca 160-180;Spanish-made Diesels were in two series,one 1976(Chrysler 180 Diesel--Barreiros,2007 cc.),another later one(Talbot-badged),made until 1980 almost(Talbot Barreiros Diesel--1919 cc.) |

Who changes these each time from French flag to Spanish flag? It is designed by Chrysler France, and just built in Spain later, like other French cars, no? -- Last edit: 2006-12-30 20:43:06 |

By what was already said about this model, I think it makes sense to list it as a 1976+ Chrysler Diesel. |
