It looks like a 1937ish Daimler COG5 to me. Although they were subject to stricter width restrictions, Birmingham Corporation had dozens of them just after the war. (In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if boys bible's link were a COG5 too.) |

No, although there's little difference, it's Daimler CVG. Daimler CVG of Hong Kong had different appearance. |

All the Daimler bus of KMB in 1950-60s are Daimler CVG, only the difference between CVG5 & CVG6. Hong Kong had not introduced Daimler COG5 at all. In old Hong Kong, there're two bus operators: China Motor Bus (CMB), and Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB). In 1960s, KMB had two types of double-decker buses: Daimler CVG (/vehicle_650320-Daimler-CVG5DD.html) & AEC Regent V (/vehicle_92736-AEC-Regent-V.html). And for CMB, all of the double-decker buses were Guy Arab (/vehicle_464197-Guy-Arab-V.html). -- Last edit: 2013-11-26 18:33:46 |

Or, let me introduce some about Daimler CVG5 of KMB. CVG5 were introduced in 1950s. The above one is the early version of Daimler CVG5. Later the version is different with the previous one. -- Last edit: 2013-11-26 18:51:37 |
