The model origin might be US but it was built in Australia and probably assembled in NZ. |

No, these are Australian designed. They chopped the rear overhang to meet Australian roadworthy. |

Not certain of the history of the Falcon but as far as I know the first all-Australian Falcon was the XA in 1972. I think all of the earlier models had some connection with the US models. 'Model origin' is probably debateable. |

I may have to pull out Collectible Automobile magazine where they had an article on Ford Falcon at Down Under. There is a picture that a designer did made out the shorten rear overhang and I'll scan it to be posted somewhere For my reference. |
