When and where is this? |

I think it was in Prague and the time should be 27–29 March 1996 (date info according to Wikipedia and information about Queen's visits) -- Last edit: 2013-11-08 19:40:56 |

maybe something like this? Rolls-Royce Silver Spur |

Can also be a Silver Spirit (we'd need to see the length of the door to be sure). It's older than the one in that pic, probably a II or III by the rims. |

on this picture there is a Silver Spur used by Diana .. maybe the same, or similar? |

A 1996+ model, you can tell by the smoother rear bumper, so a different one from the car pictured at the main image. The only thing I could say, in the absence of more views, is that the Silver Spur usually had colour coded rings on the rims on II and III models which would suggest this is a Spirit. But I've seen Spirits with these rings and I suppose it could work the other way with Spurs being available without them (and this is assuming the rims are original). -- Last edit: 2013-11-08 22:15:19 |

It has a twin exhaust. According to Link to "www.rrec.org.uk" - "Fuel injected Silver Spirit/ Spur and Silver Spirit/ Spur II’s have a single exhaust on the offside, and Silver Spirit/Spur III (’s) and later models have twin outlets on the offside (like the Turbo R)." Since it's in Prague, it might belong to the Czech government rather than the Royal Family. Can't tell from this whether it's a Spirit or an LWB Spur . Can you give any pics that show the whole rear door? EDIT: No need, I found the episode here: Link to "www.ceskatelevize.cz" Looks like a Spur (probably more suitable for Her Majesty) -- Last edit: 2013-11-09 19:01:22 |

Can you really tell it has twin exhaust pipes in this pic? I don't think you can. You just see a pipe. |
◊ 2013-11-09 19:05 |
I can, yes (the outline of the second pipe is visible just before the end of the first one) And the tyres do have white rings on them. -- Last edit: 2013-11-09 19:07:03 |

What do the white rings on the tyres have to do with anything, and I don't see what you mean about them anyway? This is a clearer view of the side, but it is still difficult to see the length of the door so I'm not sure where you get the idea that this is a Spur: -- Last edit: 2013-11-09 19:11:53 |

Just watch for a few more seconds... -- Last edit: 2013-11-09 19:13:51 |

G-MANN, why would what I called 'colour-coded rings on the rims' be white rings on the edge of the tyres? Look again at the link I provided (in particular the thumbnail) and you'll see there is a ring on the actual wheel that is in the body colour of the car. If this car had those it would have a navy blue ring on the wheel (like the car in the link). (This part of my comment would make more sense if you hadn't editted your comment whilst I was typing). And I have watched for a few more seconds and I find any comment on the length of the door utterly inconclusive. Here it even looks a bit short to be a Spur IMO: -- Last edit: 2013-11-09 19:24:57 |

OK, I'll admit I misread that. Often I scan-read things. But I'm pretty certain this has twin exhaust pipes. |

The best view of the tailpipe is here, I think you could be right about that. Nice spot: I do think it might actually be a Spirit now, though, having seen a bit more of the length of the door (and I still haven't seen a dark coloured Spur without noticeable rings on the rims, for light coloured cars it is difficult to see them). |

Thank you. And on second thought maybe the rear door is a bit short to be a Spur. |

Here's a slightly better view of that rear passenger window: |

Changed it to Spirit. |
