Je ne comprends pas pourquoi toutes ces SEAT se retrouvent avec "model origin: Spain". Ne sont-elles pas à l'époque des décalques de Fiat ? I don't understand the reason for all those "model origin: Spain" attributed to the half a dozen of SEATs here. Weren't they all Spanish Fiat ? |

This is what I found in wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SEAT : Until the time SEAT had the technical maturity and expertise to present its first self-developed model the SEAT 1200 Sport in 1975, in its beginnings the company had to manufacture either rebadged or restyled models borrowed from the range of its Italian partner Fiat, or even redeveloped them according to the needs of its own range. However the first example of a SEAT exclusive derivative would arrive already on September 1963 with the launch of the SEAT 800, a car which was developed in-house by SEAT with no equivalent model in Fiat's range on the basis of the SEAT 600 as a stretched version with 4-doors. |

Because at first we listed them that way, and we decided to keep it until the next version of the site where it would be easier to change them (and also where we can put two countries as origin, as Spanish members might not like to see them as Italy-only) |

Wll, I still don't understand. Why not "origin: Italy; build in: Spain"? After all, these cars have really been conceived in Italy and built in Spain. |

There are a lot of cars to change. Even by doing that on the server rather than one by one. As that does not apply to all Seat models but just the rebadged Fiat. So it is easier to wait for the next version of the site for handling that. |

Bah non c'est pas cohérent de le faire juste pour ce film-ci et pas pour les milliers d'autres Seat  De toute façon y a le même soucis pour les Lada (dérivées de Fiat aussi, pour les premières) et sans doute d'autres marques importantes -- Last edit: 2013-10-30 16:16:01 |
