All the vehicles in this movie were apparently provided by the Egyptian military. |

I think it might be a British WWII era tank with a fake turret over the real one. |

If so, then the movie outfitted close to ten of the things in this manner. |

Is it supposed to be a German tank? |

for a start see the front fenders , they don't fit at all , they should be same on both sides a shot of the track layout would reveals it for sure -- Last edit: 2013-10-19 20:59:43 |

Yes. No real German vehicles appear in the film. They're all Soviet vehicles. |

hmm it COULD be a britsh CENTURION with fake bodkit covering it !! the Centurion was used until it was replaced by soviet junk (T-34, T-55 etc) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Centurion_cfb_borden_1.JPG -- Last edit: 2013-10-19 21:03:20 |

You can't really see it here but if you go to 5:30 here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH4E3SMujK8 you can see they have a roadwheel design with two large roadwheels on the ends with four smaller ones in the center, like on the Valentine tank: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a0/IWM-KID-893-Valentine.jpg |
