This is the car that Belinda Emmett's character goes out and buys when she finds out that she and her husband (played by Eric Bana) will be rich from the gold (while the song "She's a Rich Girl" plays in the background). Of course, this turns out to be a bad decision. The car is therefore intended to be brand-new in the film. Note: in Australia, the facelift Pathfinder went on sale February 1999, which makes it a 1999 model as we don't use model years. This is a base "ST" model, as the "Ti" trim had monochrome (body-coloured) bumpers and wheel arches, as opposed to the two-tone paint on this one. It also lacks roof racks, which were standard on Ti. Note that both trims came with the same wheel design. -- Last edit: 2020-06-07 08:58:03 |

^^ not sure why you are clarifying so much for 1999? These were sold here as 1999s too. Nissan decided to have two 1999 MYs for whatever reason. I have a few VINs to proove this. |
