Ah, that's the thing: when I'm obsessed with a peculiar image (to get the car in its best focus, or in full image), I miss other vehicles. I'm gonna look and see if they're watchable. |

This is logical, because there is no specific German term for it. We have a plenty of them Of course, the direct translation is "Sonnendach", but this term was in fact only used in the 50ies for this VW-version. Other car-makers had own names for that construction, as "Cabriolimousine" by Opel. About the different sunroof-version I wrote something a time ago: /vehicle.php?id=372764 |
