You can clearly see body color paint in the silver. 1998-2000 would have red surround behind the silver. @baube did you know (I just found out by staring at 1998-2002 models on gtcarlot) that the Kia badge surround was red 1995-2000 and hollow 2001-2002 (Sportage unsure if this affects other models).
