I can't comment on the trim but those mirrors first became available in 2002; originally it was thought they were 2003 but I have found 2002's with confirmed VINs. 2002 GT with older style body colored mirror: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/12356352.html - Yes this is a sedan. 2002 GT with new style black mirror: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/53005675.html - Yes this a coupe but the sedans did not VINs. The mirror style change affected both the sedan & coupe.
