The Suburban has a longer rear overhang (I think it's also got a longer wheelbase, although I'm not sure about that). |

The only difference between the Tahoe and Suburban was the length of the SUV. The Suburban could (with third row seating) carry at least three more passengers than the Tahoe, but still have ample space behind the third row seats to carry whatever its owner needed. The Tahoe was offered with (optional third row seating) but by the time you added a third row of seats, you would not have any cargo room in the rear… However even though the Chevy Tahoe might be smaller than the Suburban, don’t let it fool you… It is still a very large and powerful (full-size) sport utility. |

Can't be a 1999. That is the older door badge. 1998-1999 have 'Tahoe' written instead of '1500' like this one. |
