This van is actually a 76 cause my dad had one from 1991-1999 the same color and size it a Dodge B200 Tradesman by the front and it was driving by young John Bo Duke Schneider on the film he was wearing the yellow Coors t-shirt and the only line he had was Sh** you do what you want Im staying right here. |

Only the 1976/77 had the clear front signal lights with orange bulbs. Very rare to find un-cracked. I have a 1976 B200 Tradesman and it still runs smooth and doesn't burn oil. Had to change the valve seals, clean up the valves/cylinders and intake gasket but she is nearly 100% now with 96,000 original miles. Mainly highway miles on it. Another indicator the Smokey and Bandit van was prior to 1976 is the DODGE lettering is missing on the hood. I believe this shows it is probably a 1974/75 B100 shorty as only the 1974/75 B200/300 extended MAXIVAN's had the lettering and all Tradesman's had the lettering after 1975. The 1975's were pretty much identical to the 1974's as far as I know. I've seen plenty of 1977 advertised with clear signal lenses and plenty with the orange/yellow colour. I suspect the earlier 1977 manufactured before June may be the only ones with clear and after June with the orange.
