Body colored bumpers came in 1991 on GL trim.

1991-1993 GL - black B-pillars & body colored bumpers.
1991-1993 L - body colored B-pillars and black/grey bumpers.

1990 had three trims.
L : black/grey bumper & body colored B-pillar
L Plus : black/grey bumper & black B-pillar
LX : black/grey bumpers with red accent stripe & black B-pillar

The side molding also changed and I am still investigating this.
