That is a 1995 Model Year. No doubt about it, as it has the 1995 Rear Taillights, and the rear reverse antennas. |

times when Mercedes used to build CARS |

I’ve just looked at the one on the drive, it was built last year, it says Mercédès-Benz on its door footwells, and I’m fairly certain it’s a car. |

That's where you are wrong. It's actually a lump of cheese very cunningly disguised as a functioning motor vehicle. |

Check those footwell badges again - if they say Mozzarella-Benz or Mercedes-Brie you've been cheesed. |

Chalk and cheese! Only the Format of the General Gooey Information Overlay (FormaGGIO) will tell you exactly what it is. -- Last edit: 2019-10-13 17:12:26 |

I actually prefer the bit that says maximum speed 146mph. |

Have you found the Sell-By date yet?? Or the warning about milk allergies?? |
◊ 2019-10-13 19:54 |
The sell-by date was the date upon which I bought it, the only allergy attached to it seems to be a tendency for the front windscreen to break out in parking tickets. I am reluctant to examine the likelihood of its reaching the advertised maximum speed as I think these days the fine and number of points it would attract are not worth it, not to mention the fact that I wouldn’t have a gnat’s chance of hanging on to it if anything went wrong. In fact, I quite like the C-class, this is the second one on the bounce, having moved away from an Audi A4 because the agent in the locality was below par, and I wanted an automatic ‘box that was not a cvt. The only dislike so far is the phenomenal cost of services, and I am beginning to think that the 19inch wheels with runflats that are different sizes front to back might be an expensive hobby. We have decided to quit caravanning, and I have begun the great Bentley rejuvenation project, so my next daily driver may well be electric. -- Last edit: 2019-10-13 20:47:43 |
