dsl ◊ 2013-06-28 04:20	Bulman's car as driven by his faithful sidekick Sgt Willis in eps 1.01 to 1.03; changes to a 2300SL VFY 882L from ep1.04 to 1.07 after which they use a butterscotch Marina instead - no wonder Bulman's always so grumpy - probably jealous of Regan's Fords in the Sweeney. MNB 81P was Jan 76 issue - same month as Victor replaced by VX - and listed as automatic. Would have been slower than a lamp post and therefore useless in any police action/chases (which don't really happen in this series), but have noticed in a couple of recent series that when main characters are given cars which they spend a lot of onscreen time driving while acting/talking/looking moody or whatever, they tend to be slushboxes from plate info - Floodtide another example for its lead Cavaliers and Astra.
