What year to be exact 1957 or '63? |

From what I have read, crease in door would be first series 1957. |

It's a 1957-61 [F] - I'd need to check side trim more closely to try for an exact year. Is there any possibility of CDN filming as these Victors were sold there also as Pontiac - I think the model was Envoy instead of Victor. We've had these discussions before on US and CDN [F]s ... |

Batman TV show was filmed in Hollywood CA. Not much chance of it being in Canada. |

OK then - I'm going for 57-58 for side trim and bullet-hole bumpers - as /vehicle.php?id=98483 though doesn't have wing logo - not later more normal wrapround. |

These were sold in the USA through Oldsmobile dealers IIRC. |

The Vauxhall Victor [F] was first shown in New York in September 1957 prior to its public appearance on the Pontiac stand at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 1957. No mention of any sales through Oldsmobile or other USA dealers. It was initially intended for sales only in Canada but it was determined at short notice a compact car was needed by GM in the US. Both standard Victors and Super models were intended for sale but only the Super model made it to volume sales. This looks very like a standard Victor without the 'Victor' wing script and the extended chrome trim from the front 'bomb' over-rider. So possibly an early demonstrator or launch vehicle that never had any exposure. http://vauxpedianet.uk2sitebuilder.com/vauxhall-f---victor-us-market |
