So impressive I'm wondering whether it's Imperial based. Compare /vehicle_606043-Humber.html

I've found a one line book reference that Tickford after WW2 did "the inevitable 'woody' estate bodies, on Land Rover and Humber Pullman chassis". But no pictures.

I'm not 100% certain but I think this one is a 1952 Pullman Warwick Estate by Castle Bodies of Coventry.

Cabin shape is different - our one has deeper side windows (window height and less body between window bottom and top of arch) and a different format for the rear side window (level baseline, dinky quarterlight). I guess we could be in individual coachbuilt design territory, so Castle Bodies may well be a good contender, but sadly no cigar yet ... My only book source for this theme is http://www.amazon.co.uk/Z-British-Coachbuilders-1919-1960/dp/0954998162 which does have a small entry for Castle (Kenilworth) as producing some Alvis TA14 woodies and the Warwick design of estate car on the 1951 Humber Pullman chassis, and eventually taken over by Avon; again no pictures.

But,as a matter of of fact,Pullman base option is more matching. It's not the same body, but all others parts-front,bumpers and fenders looks clearly the same as in car from Chris link,so i opt for Humber Pullman.

Thoroughbred & Classic Cars, October 1995 (pages 58-62) featured a great story & photos of this car - before, during and after restoration. According to 'Autocar' July 1952, it was produced by Castle Bodies (Coventry) Ltd, but it seems very few bodies were built by this Kenilworth based company.

the big brother of the Super Snipe were the Humber Pullman Limousine (and a less glamorous Imperial) with an almost 18 feet body, built by Rootes subsidary, Thrupp & Maberly - this was a Castle Body conversion, the 'Warwick' on a 1951 model. (See my other comment below for details).

Chris, it would be wonderful to see a photo of your car.

Not mine, I just found the link. I never owned anything bigger than a Peugeot 504 in my life.

This book has 2 period photos of Pullman woodies by Hooper and by Wilson & Stockall of Bury, but neither look like this - both are more upright without the smoothed rear edge and quarterlight. So we now have 4 Pullman woodie builders identified so far with the Tickford and Castle Body 'Warwick' references above, but nothing yet as a match.

It is made by coachbuilder Tickford. You can check it here

^ excellent match - tiny rear side window, trim fillet within waistline wood line, smooth rear curve profile, etc.

Please consider removing “Woodie”.

It is like calling the Archbishop of Canterbury “Bish”.

Found some pictures of the Castle/Warwick - apparently only 4 made. All are same car - BXG 563 - in olde times , 2003 auction and at 2014 event (scroll down). Different window shapes with straight bottom edge, not teardrop - and no very small rear quarterlight. So not a match, and sticking with Tickford here.
