So the movie is set in 1962, but a 1967 car snuck in. A friend of mine told me about it. I guess as the scene goes and they cruise by so fast no one would notice.... I didnt until someone told me about it.

How interesting, I didn't even notice that until I saw this picture on this site!! A 1967 Chevy Capice in a film set in '62, I remember seeing this same thing more clearly when I watched "Boogie Nights" on DVD for the 3rd time, It's in the first part of the film which is set in 1977 when Mark Wahlberg's character Eddie Adams first becomes famous as porn star Dirk Diggler, There's a scene where Mark Wahlberg, John .C. Reilly and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are in the shoe store and they're looking at a wall lined with racks of designer shoes, And the camera is focused on them but also you can see out the big glass window toward the street opposite the wall, Although the first part of "Boogie Nights" takes place in 1977, I see a 1986 to 1991 Ford Taurus Sedan cruise by as well as an '87 to '92 full size Ford Bronco with the round wheel well openings, I've paused this scene several times to confirm this and have thought it kind of strange, But then givien that most people are focusing their attention on Mark Wahlberg, John .C. Reilly and Phillip Seymour Hoffman buying shoes, They probably don't pay close attention to what's happening outside the shoe store anyway.

This pic shows an inaccuracy; it's a late 60s Impala I think. Definitely not accurate for the movie taking place in 1962.
Anyone want to take a crack at identifying? (I'm talking about the brown car)
