Citroen CX Safari stands out most, but Daihatsu Charade [G11] probably rarer in an eighties UK setting? |

I vote on Charade too. The CX already had opportunity, to present itself, and chose the worst possible dress it has. No 2nd chance after such disgrace. |

How about a page for each? Can anyone pin the CX down more closely? |

IMHO - pre 1982 MY (since July 1981) front fenders. Then with these mirrors it cannot be much older. But not sure if they are original, as it is possible to find Safaris in similar version from 1981 still with the small or at least chromed mirrors. Not idea, if it was the same with British Familiale model... -- Last edit: 2013-07-22 19:03:03 |

Both the Charade and the CX would be worth a page -- Last edit: 2013-06-13 17:40:10 |

CX plate is xxx 4x4Y = 82-83, and it has tints. I can't understand the Glass's descriptions properly, but seems 2400 was only estate in 82-83 - 2000 and 2500D had been dropped in 78 and 81 respectively, but 2500D returned after Oct 83. 82-83 2400 estate trims were Safari Super and Familiale.
