The M.O.D did at one time use Thames traders with box van bodies,but can not find any information on them using dropside wagons like the one above it seems there was at some stage below the windscreen drivers side a army insignia,but it has been removed,so maybe it has come out of service. -- Last edit: 2013-06-29 16:53:07 |

British military Serials 50EP00-61EP12 were allocated to vehicles which were taken over by the MoD having been operated by establishments previously operated by the Master General of Ordinance (MGO). Many of them were civilian type vehicles not seen elsewhere in the MoD fleet. Thus: 56EP19 Thames Trader 508E 5ton Dropside Truck new 07/60. Sadly I don't which department it belonged to or when it came out of service. |

Interesting info, given plates were removed when MOD vehicles were sold I would say this was still in service. |
