Have you noticed, that this movie was filmed in Lateef-country, where thousands of tons of salt are thrown over months on the roads? :p
The loaded animals aren't desert foxes.

I am aware of that, I'm not an idiot. I was just commenting that the tailgate was much more rusty than the rest of the truck.

Mmhhh, I wouldn't believe that. Isn't the black paint along the whole bottom anti-rust-protection? Or is it the original colour-sheme. If it's the anti-rust-smear, it's for 100% sure, that we have a totaly rusty wreck here.

Btw.It seems, that in Norway the resctrions about rusting car-bodies and -chassis aren't that strict as in Germany for example. At least some years ago friends of me, who had been there, were surprised, what terrible rusty cars were still on the roads there.

Norway has one of the (if not the) oldest average life-span of cars in western Europe, so it's not strange to find these old rusted out clunkers every now and then. There were even more clunkers driving around in the past (until the mid-1990s). New laws concerning scrappage not to mention stricter inspections meant that many cars were scrapped around that time - 1996 seems to have been the year with the most car scrappings in Norway. I really like the idea of having old, rusted and not- all-that-common cars still driving around, it helps making the general car fleet for colourful. Right now I'm in London and I must say that the contents of the streets are totally boring for an avid car-spotter such as myself :o
