The doorline doesn't make me think it's a Ford. I'm leaning towards a Ram of some kind. -- Last edit: 2013-05-29 17:11:17 |

I'm glad you do. But would you say 3500, or something higher? |

Yes. Could also be a Sterling with the HD chassis cab trucks. -- Last edit: 2013-06-03 00:32:52 |

Well, here's a brochure for the Sterling Bullet: http://www.sterlingtrucks.com/_Assets/Pdfs/BulletBrochure.pdf Can we be sure this wasn't made after Daimler AG sold-off Chrysler, cancelled the Bullet, and Dodge redesigned the Ram? |

I went to Sterling's web site and if this was a Sterling, the newest it could be is a '09. Sterling still sells big rigs. From this view we can't tell if it's a Sterling, Dodge or RAM. |

I lean toward a heavy-duty Ram. |

I have the episode on right now. There is a shot of the headlamp and wheel cover (Ram's head is clear). It does not appear to have the 2006 headlamp. 2007-2009/10 (chassis cab commercials used the OBS as evidenced by the VIN on the truck listed below) seems best fit. http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/37638373.html Link to "www.purplewave.com" Sterling Bullets, as far as I know, were not offered in the 1 ton (those wheel covers are 1 ton if I am not mistaken) and they all seem to have fender flares; which this one does not. https://blog.consumerguide.com/what-was-the-sterling-bullet/ @Truck_Guy what say you? Listing as a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 for now. Based off those findings. |
