'90s model for sure. Ford Guy can probably pinpoint a more exact year range. |

1993-1994? |

A bit anachronistic for a 1990s NYPD Crown Vic to be used in the present, which shows it's an obvious prop car. |

Such old cars can show up in the present time. I just saw some photos of some early 1990s Chevrolet Caprice from the Chicago Police - they were still in service in 2012. But it is a prop car. It's nothing new that the NYPD only used red and white Vector lightbars. |

The Norwegian police still have some old clunkers as patrol cars, but they're mainly reserve units and/or unmarked cars. Today I spotted a 1995 Volvo 960 in police livery, still going strong. The only drawback was that all of the DTRLs were burnt out - talk about setting a good example for the rest of the traffic |

The last older police car I saw was an Opel Omega from the mid 1990s. Painted in the old green and white colors that we used to have in that time. I read an article some months ago but only found this one: Link to "www.focus.de" Quote: "In addition, a part of the fleet is out of date. 'We got cars with a mileage of 400.000 km. And we have a fleet with 6774, the oldest one is 48 years old." |

It's a 1993-1994 model based on the fact that it has a grille and that it has the older-style seats. |
