Is it a Toyota Corolla? Local assembly? |

This is a New Zealand location doubling for the US, so unless the producers were really cheapskate I'd at least expect it to be left hand drive. |

I know this was filmed in NZ, but it looks similar to a Nissan Sentra. |

Not a US model, then, because they had lights each side of the rear number plate: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Toyota_Starlet_KP60_--_09-26-2009.jpg @Gamer: Watching the film can you see whether the car is left hand drive or right hand drive? |

As filmed in NZ, maybe a JDM-car? |

U.S never got the 5-door. Just the 3-door. |

Because this one does not have fender mirrors it is most likely a New Zealand asssembled model. There were plenty of JDM models imported through the late 1980s and 1990s as well and it could be one of those with its mirrors removed. |

Couldn't tell if it was LHD or RHD. And definitely two stars as opposed to three. -- Last edit: 2019-09-01 12:53:37 (walter) |

The wipers appear to be LHD, and the shot is not mirrored because the badge is on the correct side of the grille. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Starlet01.jpg |
