Yes. But we need someone, who can identify the coachbuilder. |

every T1 BKW to be found in internet is made by Frickinger/Augschburg, sorry Augsburg for e.g. they made 250 of this, quite a number and factory commisioned! http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5291/5473652486_42f8f2c9e5_b.jpg ours is not lengthened, and has strange roof style here is list, of all coachbuilders, that did make hearses http://www.bestattungswagen-literaturarchiv.de/4677.html -- Last edit: 2013-03-22 00:06:33 |

This is the homepage of our IMCDb-member Animatronixx. When you had been on the Veterama and other classic car events in the middle of Germany, you surely will have seen him. Especially, when he'd been there with the other Bestattungswagen-freaks. There are noticeable personalities among them. Unfortunately he isn't active any more since a time and I cannot reach him by email or phone neither |

Ok... Even though VW T1/ T2 funeral cars are rare as hen's teeth, I can prove there were a couple of them built. Various by Frickinger. At least two by Pollmann. By Miesen. By Oehler. One by Heidemann. And some more by Stadtherr, too. And the unit we see here... ... ISN'T A SINGLE EFFING ONE OF THEM!!! |
