Sure about NSU-Fiat? It has a black plate /vehicle_577235-Volkswagen-Limousine-Typ-1-1953.html , which looks somehow more like an Austrian or Italian plate, but not like a West German pre-1956-plate |

oh, yes plate doesn´t have outline, so if austrian, could it be Steyr-Fiat as well? |

Let's wait for the experts. |

Yes, if plate is Austrian, it is the 1953/54+ Steyr Fiat 1100 N/103B or brand new 1100 M/103E. |

Has it neccessarily to be a Steyr-Fiat, when it has Austrian plates? Not all Fiat 1100, running in Germany were NSU-Fiat or Neckar. Originally Italian made Fiats were sold here all the times, too, for decades (30ies until late 60ies) parallel with the locally made versions. |

AFAIK most (if not all) Fiats in Austria were first assembled and sold (and later only sold) by the Steyr under the Steyr-Fiat brand. |
