This one - http://phototrans.pl/15,26341,672.html (Lider 2 or Lider Midi, as it is visible on the bus?) |

Can be as "Lider 2" if from 2005. In the 2001/2002 annual catalogue bus with such door config. is called Lider Midi (but it is not offical source so it can be wrong). Then in 2002/2003 factory brochures it is Lider 2 (despite has some long badge - which perhaps is still saying "Lider Midi"). In 2005 catalogue, there is no pics, but there is also no any "Midi" mentioned anymore - only A1010T Lider 2 and Lider 3. 2005 was their last year in the visible form. |

I know I've seen this. It derived from the Midi, but then in official sources was usually called just Lider 2 (and Lider 3) it seems - it is like that sometimes. The did not, perhaps that's the reason why they were so shy with the name Lider Midi EDIT: @Jale - the new info - acc. to M. Kuc book and pl.wiki the bus was called "Lider Midi" till late 2005 and "Lider 2"/"Lider 3" after 2005 modifications. However worth to note, that according to the same book such 1-2-0 door config, like in this bus, was used since 2005 in "Lider 2", but on this website, the "Lider 2" name is used already in context of the 2002 bus (can be prototype!)... The case of the "Midi" badge is still not solved. Anyway, like for now, in sources we have 2:1 for "Lider 2", so let's stay with it. -- Last edit: 2015-04-10 21:23:35 |
