dsl ◊ 2013-02-14 16:02	Clip looks like a Turbo 930 at first glance with wide body, rear spoiler, blacked chrome etc. But no tints or Turbo lower side plastic on sills and rear arch. Could even be a pimped late 60s swb, but has tombstone seats, rear wiper and generally looks as if a 74+ big bumper ordinary 911 before being mucked about.

Probably the best dating is the combination of wheelbase and doorhandle style which I'd guess as 69+; it could be later up to perhaps late 70s, but difficult to know what to trust.

Keats ◊ 2019-04-02 15:35	It does play a large part in the film - certainly a **, but I'm not sure it's a ***. Number plate is fake, although it does have a Victorian registration label. Hopefully, these may help with identification: I have a DVD copy - any specific part of the vehicle you'd like me to try and cap? As to being a "bitser", the last line of these credits confirms that:

dsl ◊ 2019-04-03 14:19	Compare First one has Turbo badge, 2nd does not. So 2 cars likely. Apart from the badge both seem to be proper Turbos. Other shots show periscope headlight washers - 1977-78. But still very unconvinced that what went over the cliff was real - I don't think the lower arch curves are right - bottoms too rounded. Plus the "bitser" comment implied by credits ^. So revising to 1977 Turbo, alongside whatever the cliff-jumper was.

993cc ◊ 2023-05-07 18:51	I know. So not 1974. Also check this tachometer with boost gauge at the bottom at about 1hr 28 min. There might be another view earlier in the movie. It makes no sense to use a dash from a 930 Turbo just for this shot of the gauge which is half visible anyway and nobody would care really.
