The car does have a *rounded* + *chromium* plated grille, hence it must be a Bentley, not Mulsanne Turbo which was not for sale in the USA and did have, like the later built Turbo R (which was available in the USA)a painted grille. So it must be a Mulsanne or a Bentley Eight (which had mesh grille instead of vanes - which can't be seen on the pic). But generaly spoken, "Mulsanne" ist always right as all the derivatives built (Turbo R, Mulsanne Turbo, Eight etc etc) can be count as being a member of the Bentley Mulsanne family at least what can't be wrong ... ;-) I'd say it's a Bentley Eight this colour was during the later 1980s popular on Eights an can be seen on many old pr-pics (but I am not sure whether I am right or not - as it could also be a Mulsanne of course. Sorry) |
