If this is the original color (highly likely given the year when this was filmed), that would either make this a very early 1986 560SL (1985 production), or a rebadged 1980 450SL or 1981–85 380SL with a front spoiler and gullideckel wheels. I know the latter possibility doesn't seem as likely, but it wasn't uncommon (especially in Southern California at the time) for people to want to "update" their cars to make them seem newer and more expensive than they actually were.
