First thumbnail shows elongated rear doors, so Silver Spur. -- Last edit: 2013-07-12 03:35:46 (kegare) |

This is quite nitpicky, so I feel requires a detailed explanation... Seems to have a CHMSL (you can see something just inside the rear windscreen that looks like one in thumb 1) which according to http://www.rrab.com/rspt3.htm#top is a feature of the 1994-95 Spur III (assuming this is a non-US spec car, which it seems to be). If you look at the second thumb you can see the design of the seats (notice how the vertical fluting goes to the top of the seat) which must be what is meant here http://www.rrsilverspirit.com/models/1994SpurIII.htm by 'New seats with additional lumbar and side support and head restraints' also indicating a Spur III. Compare to the interior seen here where the fluting on the leather stops before the top: http://www.rrsilverspirit.com/models/1990SpurII.htm This would also indicate a III. rrsilverspirit.com admittedly seems a bit confused on this matter saying that the different fluting was a feature of the new Spur introduced in 1996: http://www.rrsilverspirit.com/models/1996Spur.htm though maybe they mean it was changed again (for the record this is definitely not one of those by the grill). For points of further comparison here is a Spirit III (well it is the same thing with a shorter wheelbase) that was sold by an independent Rolls Royce specialist http://www.balmoraluk.com/rch55016.htm that has the leather design that I refer to. This Spirit II (currently in stock at the same Rolls specialist) has something different: http://www.balmoraluk.com/vehicle.php?vehicleID=131 Therefore I say this is a 1994-95 Silver Spur III -- Last edit: 2013-02-03 04:34:30 |

As an owner of a Silver Spur III '95, I like to ratify Sandie's conclusion. - On the top view you see on the back doors it's a Silver Spur and not a Silver Spirit. - On the seats and break light in rear window you see it’s a Mark III or later. - On the grill you see it's a Mark III or earlier. Therefore a Silver Spur III (1994-95) |
