The two-tone paint finish is made up of Light Blue (metallic) and Steel Grey (also metallic). The latter color is important as it was introduced for the 1986 model year. The grey color went under different names like "Medium Grey" or simply just "Grey". GM chose "Steel Grey" and printed it as such in period sales brochures. The identification number for the color is WA8798. It uses copious amounts of metallic flakes to shimmer in direct sunlight. Indeed it’s a Chevrolet K-20 Fleetside, dressed in upper class Silverado trim. |
