This car was used in two brief scenes. It appear a 1985 restyling version, SEL model. Luckily nothing happened to it. |

I'd be wary of a seller that describes a 1982 Mercedes as "Russian spec" and "supplied new to a dealer in Czech Republic". |

"Russian spec" I don't get, and "many months in storage" could be since 1996, if it's on Czech plates. I suppose these scenes in Mission Impossible were done in Prague? |

Yes - in fact all the captures we have are from Prague scenes. We're missing some vehicles, like the fire trucks at the CIA headquarters. |

I'll pm the seller... Russian specs could refer to modifications made for the movie, if it's all about Eastern Europe and spies. I've never seen it. |

The car was filmed in Prague, in a scene set in Prague. In the film it belongs to a British arms dealer. P.S. Studio filming was done at Pinewood, so perhaps the car was brought to the UK for interior shots. -- Last edit: 2010-11-09 00:24:03 |
