For several years at the end of the 1960s/beginning of the 70s, it was unused and parked in an open fronted garage in a country lane in Harrow Weald. As a kid, I used to go into the garage and loved the car; it was black, with red leather interior, dusty but solid and apart from a ripped hood it seemed fine. I tried to persuade my dad to buy it, but he refused. He could have had it for £25. Eventually, a friend's dad bought it and put it back on the road. At one point he had it resprayed in two tone; black, and yellow below the side panel swage line. It was a fantastic car.
