1969 (the last) Rambler American for the new grille and the absence of the script on the left side of it. It has got yhe new center emblem . Looking through the windshield screen I have got the doubt it is a wagon. -- Last edit: 2012-11-25 10:14:06 |

By 1968, all AMC cars were AMC branded. Also, by 1969 the "American" designation was gone. This is a 1969 AMC Rambler. |

Thank You. I though the American was the only exceptionn and that The shift to AMC name happened fir '67. Than I discovered that '67 Rebels were marketed as Rambler Rebels. Anyway both Ambassadors and Marlins were AMC for '66. Can You please confirm this ? |

Yes. The period guidebook listings showed them no longer listed as Ramblers that year. |
