This is a right hand drive British Ford V8-48 or V8-60 ,1935, difficult to fix based on a picture alone. In England ,the V8-48 was launched in march 1935 , 4 months after the US .The first British V8 cars were built in the German Kôln factories and in Cork in Ireland. The first V8 engine produced by the Dagenham factory came in july 1935.In september 1935 the V8-60 was launched .It had the same body as the V8-48 but it was powered by the small 22hp V8 to cope with the high horsepower- rating taxation. The V8-48 was replaced in november 1935 by the V8-68 and the V8-60 in june 1936 by the V8-62 a specific British model with a body very similar to the French Matford. To summarize , British Ford V8-48 or V8-60 ,1935 model, origin as British. |
