I put this in because we have no other 234 (1955–58, 803 made) or 236 (1955–57, 603 made). As far as I can tell, no external difference, it was just a choice of 4cyl or 6cyl engine - anyone able to confirm? Default as 234 for lower spec and there were more of them. |

Andersons were Armstrong Siddeley dealers in the 1920s at least - no idea how long afterwards - so this one might be a loyalty remnant. |

No visible differences from the back afaik. However: The 236 used the dated, gutless 18hp six cylinder engine from the Whitley, 2.3 litres 85bhp but smooooth. The 234 used 4 cylinders of the 346 engine, 2.3 litres 120bhp but rrruff. Like many things in life all that glisters may not be a Sapphire. |
